About the Film Festival…
The Oregon Coast Film Festival is in its 7th season and announced the 2020 film festival for January 24-25, 2020 at the Egyptian Theatre in Coos Bay, Oregon. The film festival is an exhibition of Oregon films, filmmakers, cinematographers and photographers.
The 2-day festival program includes shorts and documentary films, photography collections, student films and selected feature film(s).
About the Venue
The Egyptian Theatre in Coos Bay, Oregon has a large seating capacity and 4K projection, Dolby Surround Sound 7.1 for the best audience experience. The theatre is located at 229 S. Broadway, (Hwy 101) in downtown Coos Bay easily accessible to the Coos Bay’s waterfront, lodging and restaurants.
Call for Entries/Submissions
Films and photography submissions are accepted:
July 15th- December 15, 2019.
We use FilmFreeway to process online submissions.
The film submission fee is $25.00
The photography submission fee is $10.00
All submitters will receive a festival pass.
General Considerations for Submissions
Films and photography selected into the film festival have a connection to the People, Culture, Environment, Landscape and the Artists of Oregon, the Pacific Northwest and the oceans.
Films submitted should be no more than 20 minutes in length.
Each submission should have a title and credits embedded in the film or photography.
For photography submitted as a video file, it is recommended that submissions should include no more that 20 or less than 8 digital images, organized in sequence and submitted as a video file. Each image should display for approximately 20 seconds with digital transitions. Music associated with these photography submission should credit the music artist.
